Pet Day writing

 In Room 6 at the start of term 4 we had pet day. Due to covid we couldn't bring our pets. but we all still had lots of fun at the end of that day like last year we had a colour run, and some small but fun activies threw out the class rooms. In one class we had all our pet day projects about our animals and I was doing my pet calf Moose. We could do diferent wrting pieace but one of mine was an avorticment of Mosses calf holter.

shopping List (maths)

 In Room 6 this term we got given a task were we have to create a shopping list for your birthday we had a budget of a $100 to go on countdown and buy food. Here is my shopping list.

Between Room 6 and Room 5 we are having a competition to make a boat either in a pair or just by yourself. Today we are going to find out which class is going to win. Today we have to put all our boats in to the pool and have a race to see who's boats actually float.

How To Make Butter

 On Fridays in the middle session of school we have science rotations. Last week we had Mrs Bailey and we were doing the water Cycle and now this week we have Mrs Bailey and we did the stages of cream. After we made the butter we turned into a unicorn ice cream but I am telling you how to make butter. 

How To Make Butter: 

1: First you need a jar or a bottle to shake the cream because.

2: You first start of with cream and then you shook it, and keep shaking.

3: After a while your cream will turn into whipped cream and thats a start to your butter.

4: When you keep shaking it your whipped cream will be butter in any minute.

5: Once its turns into butter it is also optional, to put any herbs of your choice or even put a dash of salt.

ASB Netball Game

On the 13th of August we had a great game of netball at our school. The Students vs Staff we won 12-10 we just won by two. It was a great game everyone loved seeing the staff run around. Here are some photos of the game. In our team we had Sophie, Alex, Solly, Leah, Deakyn, Tahlia, Zoe, Me and Anusshika.

While being at home my teacher said to create a Anzac piece of art so I did an Anzac reef. We also have a competition to see who can create the best dressed war teddy bears on this slide show I have both of them so here is what I created.

on Friday while in quarantine for fun day Friday we did the room 6 best baker. we had to find something to bake I could of been anything but I baked caramel cake, here is what we did and what I baked. 

Anzac day the last post

in room 6 also in quarantine my teacher gave us an instruction, to to listen to the last post.  And make some sentences of how we feel listening to the song and what it makes us remember. here is what I created.

In room 6 in quarantine, my teacher ask if we all could watch a Lego waffle and coffee video on YouTube. then we had to make our own breakfast but she gave us one rule not to use food. he is what I created. 

first day of Technology

Yesterday was my first day of Technology at the grey high school. There were two groups in different classes. 
In the morning my group were in computering. In that class we are making a electric   garden game. I was sitting next to my friend Zoe. After  computering we had lunch, then my next class was science and we made ice cream. 
It was hard to make because we had had a big bag and small bag. In the big bag we had to put salt and ice, in the small bag we put milk and vanilla. We put the small bag in the big bag, sealed the big bag up and we moved the bags around and shook them until ....
The ice made the ice cream go hard!

The last class of the day, cooking and sciences, were sort of the same class.
In sciences/cooking we went to two sciences labs and we had to create tiny explosions.

if I had my own you tube channel I would call it Haylee on the West Coast. 

I create fun and cool videos like 24 hour challenges, and hunting videos, I also would like to post room tours and other fun videos.

my favourite you tube channel in new Zealand is a hunting channel and they also do farming it is called new zealand sleep hunting.

Five Kind Things About Mrs Wallace.

last week we watch a movie called Klaus its a Netflix movie and it is great. After we watched the movie we had a set of instructions, one of them was to say five kind things to a person that treats you kindly.

In room 5 my maths group has been working on place values. Annabelle and I were buddies and this is teaching you about place value.

Onesie Run!!!

 Today is the fun run we get to wear our Pj's onesie or just wear mufti. The Fun Run it is to raise money towards our camps we can win prizes too. I chose to wear a bull dog because they make me laugh. I got really hot on the bus.
