Discussion

I have been learning about writing a discussion.

I have included:- a title, connectives, a conclusion that recommends one view over the other.

Should classes be allowed to have pets?

Many people question classes who have pets, asking if caring for pets distracts children from their learning.

I am going to discuss points for and against having a class pet.

Firstly, class pets teach children to be kind and show respect because if children look after a pet they are learning to care for.  feed and exercise a pet.

However, class pets distract children from learning because they are messy, they smell and they are noisy.

In conclusion, I firmly believe that classes should not be allowed to have pets because they are  messy, they smell and they are noisy.

I have worked hard to add detail to my ideas.

When I walked through the school gates I saw a playground and it was humongous. I saw a flying fox, it could slide across to the other side and it had a handle.

Then I went into the classroom. I saw lots of computers and one big computer.

The school had a pool with a deep end and a shallow end.

Then I went to the office. It had pictures of the kids.
